Women empowerment refers to increasing and improving the social-economic, political and legal strength
of the women, to ensure equal rights to women, and to make them confident enough to claim their rights such as freely lead their life and save form different types of harassment.

• have equal rights to participate in social, religious, public activities.
• make their own choices and decisions.
• get equal opportunity for education and chance in the job sector.

So we discuss those major areas present situations which situation our girls' faces. It helps to find our country's women's empowerment
situation. Women's empowerment is a vital issue for every country's economic growth. It will help women to be self-sufficient and will help to
resist oppression against women. Before independence, women's empowerment is very slow and most of the time it is negative. We saw that
everywhere sphere male domination. During Rokeya's time, women were not given equal opportunities to explore and demonstrate their God-given
potential and talents. Rokeya's wake-up call to women by no means suggests that they are more responsible for gender oppressive practices. In her writing,
she makes it clear that men, who have denied women equal opportunities, should take a greater role in establishing gender justice. Begum Rokeya is an example
of women's empowerment of development.

After independence, we see that not only other countries but also our country build up highly because her women's empowerment rate is highly increased day by day.
Bangladesh is the only country in South Asia which has a women prime minister and leader of their house, women leader of the opposition, women speaker and deputy
leader of the house. As per the official records, girls' enrollment rate at the primary school is 99.4%female are being encouraged to take teaching as a profession.
It is our big achievement for women empowerment. Or another example for women empowerment is our honorable prime minister Sheik Hasina and she receives the
Global Women’s Leadership Award in Sydney on Apr 27, 2018, for her outstanding contribution to women empowerment. Empowering women is much more than a policy for Hasina.
It is part of her political vision for Bangladesh and beyond. Women now get six months’ paid maternity leave.

International women's day is the most important day for everyone. It remembers our women empowerment how important and how much change our women's life day by day.2019 UN WOMEN
official theme is “Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change”.It means a lot for our women for increasing their empowerment and also means building smart solutions that go beyond
acknowledging the gender gaps in addressing the needs of men and women equally. The most important sector now is the Bangladesh garment sector where women are engaged to earn.
The CRI(Center for research and information) report said that the country's export boom garment section with 85% of the workers now accounts for 80% of Bangladesh's total foreign earnings.

In the end, we can say that women are our great asset. They are helping in our national development.We should create a suitable environment for their work. Otherwise, the country will lag behind.
